Two Trees

   Hello again,

In the church today there is a large problem. Few people see it and even fewer know what it is. But still it sits there so big that noone sees it and the few that do have no idea how to fix it.  I personally have wrestled with the issue myself and found no easy answers.

   So as the Lord has instructed me to do I will do the only thing I can. Expose it.  You might ask what is this problem. Well I’m going to tell you. We are eating the forbidden fruit. Yes in the christian church we are eating the forbidden fruit. You might ask how are eating the fruit.                                                                        

   Well to show you how I must take you back to the first of our kind. In the garden of eden Adam and Eve ate from one of the trees in the middle of the garden. The tree of good and evil.  NO! they did not eat of the tree of good and evil. They ate of the tree of the knowlege of good and evil.  In other words they ate of the ability to judge the differance between right and wrong.                                              

   So you still don’t see how we as christians do the same thing  everyday and espesially on sunday. What do we focus on? Morals! Thats right focussing on morallity is eatting the forbidden fruit. How is that possible you might ask. Well what are you taught in churches today? That’s right the differance between right and wrong. So what fruit are you being served? The knowlege of good and evil. 

     Something else you might notice is that the other tree in the middle of the garden wasn’t a tree of knowlege at all. The tree of life was just that, a tree of life. To eat of life is to just receive life. No learning how to live or what to do in life. Just life. That’s it. There isn’t anything else to do. Just live. When Moses asked God who do I say sent me to pharoah God answered I AM THAT I AM, or I EXIST PERIOD.

    That’s why the serpent wanted to deceive them. He could not stand the idea of Gods’ dream coming true. If they had eaten of the tree of life they would have no need for the knowlege of good and evil.   So how do we fix this problem? Simple stop focussing on good deed vs. evil deed. Just simply exist in Christ. In him we live , and move , and have our being. Jesus came to fix the problem that we had with sin. God had no problem with us. He through them out of the garden to protect them from eating of the tree of life and then being stuck in a physical existance of eternal curruption.

    You see taking from the wrong tree put us in a fix. We now see everything through the eyes of duallity. Right and wrong , up and down, holiness and wickedness.  And yes those things are real but the problem is that since they ate of  the knowlege of good and evil we think thats the point.  But it isn’t the point. God simply wants us to get over our issue of is it right or not and just hang out with him. That was his plan in the beginning. Someone to love and someone to love him back. Do you focus on what ticks your friends off when you hang out with them?  Of course not, you would have any fun if you did.    It is the same way with God. He just wants you to have fun with him.  But somehow we have turned it around and now we teach in churches that the way to the tree of life is through the tree of the knowlege of good and evil.  I agree. That is fuzzy logic but in effect thats what almost every pastor sunday school teacher and christians period teach.  God is calling us to come out from among them and be separate. Not following the tendancy to judge right and wrong. And not living in sin because that makes about as much since as going to your friends house and slapping his girlfriend. It would still be living in good and evil. The point is to live outside of right and wrong and just fellowship with God. Don’t be so concerned about that sin you commited an hour ago. God forgave for that 2000 years ago.  So I leave you with this try not to think is this right or wrong and think what does that have to do with me and the Father.  Till next time.

Jesus and homosexuals

     hello again, Its been awhile I know but I have been very busy since my wife had our little girl. Also we have had some computer problems so anyway thats that.

      What I would like to talk about is Jesus and homosexuals. I know that in my religous experience there have been many cruel things said from pulpits concerning this topic.  Well I thought I would just put my opinion out there and see if maybe I could change some points of view.

      The tipical thing most christians will tell you is that they believe that if you are a homosexual you are going to hell because you can’t serve God and live in sin. To this comment I say let him/her with no sin throw stones. It amazes me that christians have picked certain sins that a believer in Jesus can never stumble on. All sin is dangerous not because God will cast you to hell but because unhealthy decisions are not going to lead you in a good direction.

   The other thing that comes up is that gay people aren’t born gay. Well yes and no. We all have unhealthy tendencies. and yes you are born with them. So are gays born gay?  Kind of yes. Does that make it right? Well what I am about to say is going to totally offend all traditional values people. Whether or not it is a sin to be gay isn’t the point. The point is that we should love our fellow man not because we follow Jesus or go to church but because we are all human.  We live on the same planet and the deeds of one of us effects all of us. So we must love each other with our flaws. We don’t have to agree with someone to love them! I know that I struggle with sin and I’ve been a Christ follower for 15 years.   So to end this time let me encourage you the christian reading this think before you speak out against the gay agenda. And to you who are gay or lesbian let me say that I love Jesus and I do not judge you. Jesus doesn’t either so know that he loves you just the way you are.    till next time.

HELL

  hello  again 

This time I would like to discuss a topic that has

been the subject of debate for centuries.  Before I start

I want every one to know that I am only offering

my oppinion according to how I understand scripture.

        Is there a HELL?  Is there a place of eternal torment

and suffering. Well the bible does speak of a lake of

fire that burns eternally.  It does mention that those who

take the mark of the beast being in this lake of fire.

But it also mentions that this lake of fire is before the throne

of God.  That would be in heaven. The bible also says

in romans 11:32 that God concluded them all in

unbelief  so that he may show mercy to everyone.

           Well here is what I think when it comes to

judgement and redemption.  IT WAS TAKEN CARE OF

BY JESUS! Thats right Jesus succeeded in his mission.

God is not willing that any should perish.  The

last time I looked Gods will is done whether you

want it or not. A door God closes can not be open.

So if he does not want any to perish then none will

perish.  Does that mean he doesn’t judge sin? No.

Those who he loves he chastens. So will be saved

as by fire. 

     It strikes me odd that so much of Rev. is concidered

symbolic accept where it talks of judgement.

I personally view it as purification.  God is patient.

He shows people the way to Christ in his timing.

He does not submit to us. If Jesus died for the sins

of all men , that is to save us all, and all aren’t saved

than he failed. Praise God he didn’t fail.  This is the good news.

That Jesus wipe away all sin.  Therefore as far as God

is concerned there is no more sin. Remember he loves

us because he wants to. He chooses us we don’t choose him.

I will leave you with this. FOR I AM PERSUADED THAT

NEITHER  DEATH, NOR LIFE, NORANGELS,NOR

PRINCIPALITIES,NORTHINGS PRESENT, NOR THINGS

TO COME,NOR POWERS, NOR  HEIGHT,  NOR  DEPTH,

NOR ANY OTHER CREATED THING , WILL  BE  ABLE

TO SEPARATE US FROM THE LOVE OF GOD, WHICH IS IN CHRIST 

JESUS OUR LORD.  ROMANS  8: 37-39

Christian Music?

Hello, everyone today I am going to talk about

christian music.  Before I start I want to say that this

is not a style bash. God created all music.

      But something  has happened to Christian music

it is now simply possitive music.  Why?  Because

most of the artists are their to play music and thats all

They arent evangelist like the original CCMers.

I don’t understand it but it has become just another

buisness.  They don’t want to offend anyone so they

right about possitive things and occationally putting

Jesus name in a song or two. 

      That doesn’t mean we have to sing about Jesus

all the time, but if your going to be a christian group

be a christian group.

    It all boils down to the fact that the american

church is a buisness. Therefore what it spawns

are institutional buisnesses. I really think it’s time

we took a fresh look at our faith and weeded some things

out. till next time.

Is this the Jesus you know?

Hello again, I’ve put some really funny pictures

on this time because I need to make a point.

Jesus isn’t out to get you. I know you’ve been

told different by men in suits, but believe me

he loves you.  

      The thing is that Jesus wants to laugh and

hangout and watch the game, and go to the store

with you.  All he wants is to share his life with you

as you share yours with him. 

      What about that sin thing? This is what Jesus

The Harlot & The Bride pt 3

Hello again, this time I am going to talk about

the harlot and the bride together. 

We’ve discussed the differance. Now let talk about

redemption. Those still involved in organized religion

will also be brought to the father.

        The book of hosea talks about a man who God told to marry a

hooker. “She is not going to stay but you must go and buy her

back.”  That is what God is doing for the organized church.

He has bought the harlot back.  He has ingrafted her

into the vine and made her one with the bride ,and himself.

So yes they are our brothers and sisters. It is our

responcibility to show them who Jesus truly is

by showing love one to another.   Till next time.

The Harlot & The Bride pt. 2

  Hello again, today we are discussing the bride.

Prov.8  talks about wisdom and describes it as

a woman.  Notice the differance between her and

the harlot.  The bible says in harlot.jpgprov. 8 that she stands

in the center of town and calls to everyone.

    Unlike the harlot she offers freely what she

has.  She never mentions paying sacrifices,

or tries to suduce people with her words.

She simply offers what she has freely.

Sounds like someone doesn’t it.  Jesus.

Well thats because the bride is part of the husband.

So she acts like him.  Thats how you can tell that

you are in The Church or Institutional Religion.

   If   it offers a free relationship with Jesus and his

Church.  No strings attached.  Another word for church should be

brotherhood and  sisterhood.

 Institutional religion only says it offers this,

but always makes you pay for it in someway.

     The way it makes you pay the most is in

rules (the law).  You will never pay it though.

    But the Bride is always giving , it is her nature.

 She is like her husband Jesus.

    If you need something she will give it to you.

She doesnt hide in shame or use shame against

you.  She says simply come on lets hang out together.

Just like Jesus.   Thats the point, she has been around him

so much that she acts just like him.   She has fun just

being  around him, and she wants others to know

him too.  She can’t barely the thought of selling what

and who she knows.  He is to wonderful.  So she just

gives all she has away.  Just like Jesus.  ‘Till next time.

The Harlot and the Bride

Today I am going to start a post on the harlot

and the bride.  Please take into account that this

is what i believe. It is my opinion, but I believe

Jesus would agree.

     In proverbs 7 we find the story of a harlot.

and if you notice what she says to the foolish man.

“I have made my sacrifices and my husband is gone.

come and let us ravish in love tonight” (my parafrse)

    In spiritual terms I beleive the Lord Jesus would

have us see this as institutional religion.

Why do I say this? Because institutional religion

says the same thing.  If you dont beleive me just

go to nearly any church this sunday.  you will

probably hear something about not sinning anymore

(making sacrifices)  jesus coming back(my husband is gone)

but that doesnt mean we are perfect (excusing the sin)

Have you ever noticed that christians will talk about

fun in the Lord but never fun with the lord?

in otherwords fun with each other away from the

husband.

       I think the reason for this is that many christians

do not truly beleive that Jesus is there.

They only stay incase he is. Why wouldnt they?

We’ve been told horror stories about being left

behind and the terror that will soon happen.

Of  world rulers and people being marked with

symbals of sixxes.   All of this just spreads fear

and panic. In first John it says that perfect love casts

out all (not some) fear. So what have we done wrong?

     I believe that  we have gotten off the track

It should be that we are told and taught about

relationships with the Lord through relationship

with his church.  Not just verbal teaching either.

We should teach each other by being involved or sharing in

each others lives. We are the body of Christ.

That means that when we are together ,we are the

fullness of Christ on this earth.   ’till next time

the love of GOD

I was thinking one day about all the things in life

that i had done wrong.  It suddenly hit me like a

ton of bricks. I wasn’t paying the penalty of any

of those things.

      Why am I even aloud to stand free and

inocent?  Simple THE LOVE OF GOD.

I once heard a freind of mine say that

the name of god I AM when translated

into modern english means “Ill do

what i damn well please! ” I thought that pretty

much said everything that there was to say.

That is why god loves you  not because you did

something to prove your worth , but because

he wants to. There isn’t anything you can do

about it. He will love you no matter what.

QUIET TIME

  so often we get in a rut of when to spend time

with the lord. this is refered to as quiet time by

some.   in my own journey with jesus i have

found  that jesus wants so much more than

an hour in the morning.   he wants to live with

us.  please dont misunderstand me Im not

saying that we shouldnt have times where

we have an alone moment with jesus.

 jesus  did this quite often. it was the first

thing he did after his baptism.  but that

shouldnt be the end of our relationship

with jesus. 

      to give an example of what i am talking

about just imagine  a guy named jim

and a girl named sharon get married.

do you think that jim and sharon are only

going to speak to each other first thing  in

the morning?   no of course not.  they will

probably spend every moment  they can

with each other. and not just alone.  when one

of them has a freind over the other will join in.

because they are interested in each others

interests.   it is the same way with the lord.

allow yourself to take him along  with you

when you go places and do things.

     if you like the mall why wouldnt he?

if you like rock concerts why wouldnt he?

we were made in his image and likeness,not

the other way around.   you probably like the

same things he does.  so how about letting

him in to your life.  and make him more

than your lord let him be you freind.
