The Harlot and the Bride
Today I am going to start a post on the harlot
and the bride. Please take into account that this
is what i believe. It is my opinion, but I believe
Jesus would agree.
In proverbs 7 we find the story of a harlot.
and if you notice what she says to the foolish man.
“I have made my sacrifices and my husband is gone.
come and let us ravish in love tonight” (my parafrse)
In spiritual terms I beleive the Lord Jesus would
have us see this as institutional religion.
Why do I say this? Because institutional religion
says the same thing. If you dont beleive me just
go to nearly any church this sunday. you will
probably hear something about not sinning anymore
(making sacrifices) jesus coming back(my husband is gone)
but that doesnt mean we are perfect (excusing the sin)
Have you ever noticed that christians will talk about
fun in the Lord but never fun with the lord?
in otherwords fun with each other away from the
husband.
I think the reason for this is that many christians
do not truly beleive that Jesus is there.
They only stay incase he is. Why wouldnt they?
We’ve been told horror stories about being left
behind and the terror that will soon happen.
Of world rulers and people being marked with
symbals of sixxes. All of this just spreads fear
and panic. In first John it says that perfect love casts
out all (not some) fear. So what have we done wrong?
I believe that we have gotten off the track
It should be that we are told and taught about
relationships with the Lord through relationship
with his church. Not just verbal teaching either.
We should teach each other by being involved or sharing in
each others lives. We are the body of Christ.
That means that when we are together ,we are the
fullness of Christ on this earth. ’till next time

Absolutey wonderful. I have seen the same thing in Proverbs Chapter 7. My blog is
http://thedailysacrifice.blogspot.com/
This is what I have put in that blog:
Proverbs: Chapter 7
1: My son, keep my words, and lay up my commandments with thee. 2: Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of thine eye. 3: Bind them upon thy fingers, write them upon the table of thine heart. 4: Say unto wisdom, Thou art my sister; and call understanding thy kinswoman: 5: That they may keep thee from the strange woman, from the stranger which flattereth with her words. 6: For at the window of my house I looked through my casement, 7: And beheld among the simple ones, I discerned among the youths, a young man void of understanding,
(What if the simple one was you?)
8: Passing through the street near her corner; and he went the way to her house, 9: In the twilight, in the evening, in the black and dark night: 10: And, behold, there met him a woman with the attire of an harlot, and subtil of heart. 11: She is loud and stubborn; her feet abide not in her house: 12: Now is she without, now in the streets, and lieth in wait at every corner.
(What if this is the voice coming from the Harlot Church .) Aren’t organized, institutional, religious churches usually on a corner?
Think about it.
13: So she caught him, and kissed him, and with an impudent face said unto him, 14: I have peace offerings with me; this day have I payed my vows. 15: Therefore came I forth to meet thee, diligently to seek thy face, and I have found thee.
(What if this meant “I’ve been ordained and have a religious ” Title” that proves it! and I’m out evangelizing for my church:) (“organized, institutional, religion”)
16: I have decked my bed with coverings of tapestry, with carved works, with fine linen of Egypt. 17: I have perfumed my bed with myrrh, aloes, and cinnamon. 18: Come, let us take our fill of love until the morning: let us solace ourselves with loves.
(What if this meant : I know the needs you have, I have needs too, and I have prepared something that I know will really satisfy the inward depths of your soul.)…an imitation of the real thing.. (“organized, institutional, religion” )
19: For the good man is not at home, he is gone a long journey: 20: He hath taken a bag of money with him, and will come home at the day appointed.
(What if this meant Jesus is not here right now. He has gone on a long journey and taken some of his wages {the first fruits of saints he redeemed at His resurrection} and He won’t be back until the time appointed by God. and didn’t Jesus also say “There is none good but God” ? Could this also mean the good man is Jesus?)
21: With her much fair speech she caused him to yield, with the flattering of her lips she forced him.
(What if this meant that the “organized, institutional, religious person with the “Title” compelled you by their artful speech to become one of it’s members? )
22: He goeth after her straightway, as an ox goeth to the slaughter, or as a fool to the correction of the stocks; 23: Till a dart strike through his liver; as a bird hasteth to the snare, and knoweth not that it is for his life. 24: Hearken unto me now therefore, O ye children, and attend to the words of my mouth. 25: Let not thine heart decline to her ways, go not astray in her paths.26: For she hath cast down many wounded: yea, many strong men have been slain by her.
(Do you remember where Jesus spoke of the man that had been beaten by robbers and left wounded on the road? He was taken to the inn-keeper and oil and wine were poured in his wounds,…..and the inn-keeper was asked to look after him….{The good samaritan – The true neighbor- which seems as though it could be Jesus Himself} said if he owes for anything else it would be paid for when He returned. It would seem that Innkeeper could very well be the Holy Spirit.)
27: Her house is the way to hell, going down to the chambers of death.
(Yes, what if it was you?)

To the best of my knowledge you are the only other one who has been shown this. WOW…. I do not think it is at all possible to recgonize any of this with out the instruction of the Holy Spirit. You pray for my growth and I’ll pray for your growth. You cannot believe the excitement I have within, because of your blog. Thank you.
Have a great day in Jesus,

It’s kind of interesting…..Solomon was told to build the temple of God…….Everyone is so focused on the building that was erected in Jerusalem…….I think that they missed the real Temple blueprints he was laying out. ( ….in proverbs Chapter 7, and Proverbs Chapter 8…I somehow think that the Song of Solomon also shows it (maybe the one built on land was a smokescreen !)
Oh well, like I always say….Don’t follow me…..you follow Jesus.
Have a great day in Jesus,
Randy
